Blackberry Jam

Today I picked blackberries and made freezer jam. I was able to get six pints and one quart of jam with enough berries left over to make blackberry cobbler and still have some berries left for breakfast tomorrow. And that doesn't even include all the berries my daughter and I ate while making the jam. Definitely a good day. I'll be enjoying blackberry jam all winter!

I did not use Jell-O for this batch of freezer jam...I used regular pectin. I didn't know about the Jell-O recipe then. However, if I were to make blackberry jam now, I would probably just use raspberry flavored Jell-O.

    Hope that helps!
