Luck of all luck, a few weeks back I found some plain black pumps for $10. Ten bucks, people! They are just what I have been searching for: round toe, heal that is not too high, but not stuffy or “Mary Poppins” looking, and super comfortable. Just one problem…too plain! So I headed to Joann’s to see what I could come up with to add some pizazz. I spent $2 on a few inches of black leather trim that was covered in metal brads, glued it on and that, my friends, is the end of the story.
