A New Can of Worms

At a church activity a week ago, we learned the basics of crochet. I grew up around grandma and aunt are both FANTASTIC advanced crocheters, yet somehow I knew nothing more than a basic chain stitch and that was sketchy at best. So I am proud to announce that now I know enough to actually make something. Introducing my first crochet creation:
Isn't it PURTY!? And you know what the best part is? A friend taught me how to do the stitches, but I came up with this method of making the flower myself. The brown crochet underneath is one of those headband beanie things, which is still a work in progress.

I am so excited to have a new skill in my crafting arsenal, but truly, did I need another temptation at craft stores? Talk about opening a can of worms!
