A few years back, I was at Rite-Aid and had a question for the pharmacist about which medicine I should buy for my kids. He told me the answer and then said, “Here. Take two of these. They are the best for giving medicine to kids.” He handed me two medicine syringes (for free) and I was on my way.
I wish I could go back and hug that pharmacist! I had always used the little cups that come with the medicine. Then we’d have spills, messy mouths and I never felt like they could get the last bit of medicine out of those cups. With these syringes, it’s easier to give the correct dose, you can fill one up at bedtime and have it ready to go for those middle-of-the-night dosages, the kids just suck on it like a bottle, and it is all around so much easier! You should definitely stop by your local pharmacy and see if they will give you one.

Target gives me one with each new prescription! My pharmacist has also given me a few for otc meds as well. LOVE using the syringe!

The NICU nurses taught me all about syringes for medicine and I went home and tried it out on my 2 year old. We have never used anything else since then. Best thing ever!

My hubby (our household chef) also uses one to measure out vanilla so it doesn't make a mess.
