Plastic Dresser Five Minute Makeover

I think everyone has at least one set of plastic dresser drawers somewhere in their house, right? I have one in my bathroom. I need it for the extra storage, but I hate how everyone can see my stuff. I mean, do I really want guests seeing my Tucks pads or feminine hygiene products? No! So I came up with a quick and easy solution.

I cut some thick scrapbooking cardstock down to the right size and stuck it against the front of each drawer:

Yup, that's it. Didn't even tape it or anything. And look at the huge difference:

Things are looking so much more neat and tidy. I love it!

If you are worried about durability, I suppose you could laminate the cardstock. But then this project might take a whopping ten minutes, so you'll have to decide if you can spare the time. Ha ha.

  1. What a great idea, and one that is so quick to do.

  2. I really need to do this! My craft space is the dining room and it would look so much nicer! Thanks for the great idea!

    1. You are welcome, Rachel. I have more of these drawers in my craft room too. I need to do them next!
