What To Do With Clearance Christmas Candy

I was at Target tonight and noticed that all of their Christmas candy was marked 50% off. Great. More candy. Just what I need after a week  (or two) of binging on goodies. Ha!

But actually, I have a great idea for what to do with all that scrumptious clearance candy that doesn't involve eating it all (right now anyway).

It works great for M&M's and Hershey's Kisses.  You just separate the red...

from the green...

...and BAM!  Now you have candy for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day!

Brilliant? I sure thought so. My ever-so-talented and very thrifty aunt (hi, Paula!) passed on that little nugget of wisdom to me a while back and I thought, "Whoa! Life hack! Why didn't I think of that?!"

  1. And then you eat them all before Valentine's Day or St. Patrick's Day. Or at least that's how I roll :)

    1. I hear ya! You put the kids in bed, sit down to watch your favorite show, and bust out the candy you don't want to share!

Hey readers! Leave me a note... I read each and every comment and I love to hear from you!
