Rainwashed by Sherwin-Williams

My house is a wreck. When you mix baking Christmas goodies, sewing handmade gifts last-minute, three little mess makers and remodeling, I guess you should just expect that.

But I can't wait another minute to talk about the paint I picked for our living/dining/kitchen area.

I chose Rainwashed by Sherwin-Williams. Here is a little sneak peek to tide you over until the room is free of 2x4's and boxes.

Isn't it pretty? Now that I've lived with it for almost a month, I can say that I wholeheartedly love it. The color changes depending on the light. Sometimes I think it is really blue, other times it looks gray, and in certain lights it looks green! I would say that for the most part it is blue, though. It is such a soothing color. It's definitely a color, but it almost reads as a neutral because everything looks good with it.

We don't have baseboards or crown moulding at the moment either. Yep, we're in the throws of it.

I was so impressed with Sherwin-Williams paint. The coverage was exceptional. I did two coats of paint because I have wild children and wanted it to be durable, but this paint covered perfectly after only ONE coat. I thought that was pretty cool.

I can't wait to show you the before and after pictures of this room. Going from red/tan/nacho cheese to this stunning and modern color? The change was dramatic!

Disclosure: I received paint from Sherwin-Williams as compensation for the post. All opinions are my own and no other compensation was provided.

  1. OOOHHH I love that color! I think I just found the color for my bathrooms when I finally get to paint our new house! I just hope that it isn't too expensive because we have three bathrooms and I would love to keep them all the same color so we can keep the same towels and bathroom décor between them without clashing colors.

    1. I think it would be a perfect color for a bathroom...very tranquil and spa-like! Sherwin-Williams has great sales, so that will help with the cost. Especially in a bathroom, it's worth it to get quality paint that will hold up to moisture and scrubbing.

Hey readers! Leave me a note... I read each and every comment and I love to hear from you!
