Brass Coffee Table Makeover

I've been hunting for a round coffee table for a few months now. A couple days ago, I found this bad boy at a thrift store:

For $15, I knew I could take a chance on it. Look at the icky brass:

Oh, icky brass. I've seen a lot of you lately! Remember the outdoor lights I fixed up?

For the table, I used this spray paint:

It's a softer aqua color and I LOVE the matte finish. It gives the project that casual, comfy, slightly beachy vibe I was hoping for.

It only took one can (barely had enough) and look at my new coffee table!

So much more "me" although my husband apparently hates glass coffee tables. Who knew?

I think this color of spray paint works well with my wall color too (Sherwin-Williams Rainwashed). It's not a match, but it coordinates.

I tell ya, I never get sick of spray paint projects. In less than half an hour I was able to completely change the look of this coffee table!

  1. Yes, Yes much improvement. Good rescue!

  2. Love how the teal matches the tint of the glass (you can really see the teal on the edge in the first pic). I was just spray painting a few things yesterday!

  3. Looks great! Did you make your sign above the couch?

    1. Yep! Believe it or not, it's a chalkboard that I made from the discarded backing of a dresser mirror! Ha!

Hey readers! Leave me a note... I read each and every comment and I love to hear from you!
