We have been swamped around here lately and it's only going to get crazier once school starts. When I get busy and stressed, I have to let some things slide. Usually it's the housework. Ha! But one thing that is really important to me is sitting down to dinner every night with my family. No matter how nuts it gets, I try to make home-cooked, nutritious food.
Want to know one of my secret weapons? Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips! They are 100% all-natural and made with all-white meat. They are 97% fat free, and the best part... they are fully-cooked!
I recently stopped at Walmart to buy spray paint and I knew it was going to be a busy night, so I also bought everything I needed to make one of our favorite dinners: Cheesy Chicken Sandwiches with Garlic Parmesan Aoli. And guess what? With the help of Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips, it only took 10 minutes to prepare!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
Cheesy Chicken Sandwiches with Garlic Parmesan Aoli
Ready in 10 minutes
Makes 6 sandwiches
2 packages Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 Roma tomatos, sliced
1 handful spinach
1+ cup shredded Italian cheese blend (or mozzarella)
1 package hoagie buns
Start by mixing the mayo, parmesan and garlic together. This is your aoli. Place buns on baking sheet and spread evenly with aoli. Broil until bread just barely starts to brown around the edges.
Layer the spinach, tomato, chicken, then cheese.
Broil until the sandwich is heated through and the cheese is nice and melty. And don't forget to turn off the broiler when you're done!
Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips are moist, delicious, and so easy. This is what they look like out of the package:
