Christmas Tractor With A DIY Tree Cart

Hey there friends! Did you see my Christmas home tour a few days ago? Today I wanted to share the details of my vintage red tractor. I decided to make a cart for it to pull so I could fill it with bottle brush Christmas trees.

I made the cart from popsicle sticks and vintage black buttons!

First I folded a box shape out of regular white cardstock. Then I painted it to look like old wood. Then I hot glued the sticks to the outside of the box.

I had to cut some of the curved ends off so the sticks would fit tightly together. You can see that in this picture:

I added the wheels and a connector piece too, then I was done!

This project took less than an hour, but I have to say, it's one of my favorite, favorite decorations this year! I've always loved this vintage tractor and seeing it pulling a cart of Christmas trees just makes me love it all the more.

Thanks for stopping by!
