Oatmeal Scotchies are one of my husband's all-time favorite cookies. I make them every year at Christmas. Have you had them before? They are a soft, hearty oatmeal cookie flavored with orange zest, cinnamon and butterscotch chips. Oh, wow. They are so good!
When I first heard of Quaker® Oats "Bring Your Best Bowl" Contest, I knew immediately that I would use Oatmeal Scotchies as my inspiration. All of my favorite cookie flavors for breakfast? Yes, please!
I headed to my local Walmart to buy the ingredients I would need. Quaker® Oats are located in the cereal aisle.
First you'll need to make a bowl of Quaker® Oats following the directions on the canister. I used Quick One Minute Oats. While your oatmeal is cooking, gather up a few simple ingredients: milk, an orange, brown sugar, butterscotch chips and cinnamon.
Add them all together, give it a good stir and then dive into a bowl of pure deliciousness!
Oatmeal Scotchie Breakfast Bowl
