I used to be obsessed with scrapbooking. My oldest child has amazing scrapbooks documenting every moment of her life. My youngest child? I don’t even think I have any printed pictures of her. As life has gotten busier, I just dropped scrapbooking completely. My poor younger children have nothing.
But last year, my husband and I took an amazing vacation to Boston. It was such a memorable trip that I really wanted to document it and be able to look at our pictures together. So I decided to give the Project Life method of scrapbooking a try. Guys, game changer!
My travel scrapbook came together so quickly because I didn’t have to spend a bunch of time hunting for coordinating paper and embellishments or cutting and gluing and cropping. You just slide your photos into the sleeve pockets, then slide the pre-made cards into whatever spots are left!
Next up, it’s time to work on some baby books. Maybe my youngest kids will get scrapbooks after all!
So have you tried the Project Life way of scrapbooking? What did you think?
If you’re interested in giving it a try, you can find some cute kits HERE.

I used to use this method of project life for a while but then found it too time consuming and there was still 'stuff' laying around, cards to keep organized, pictures to print and pick up etc… so,I switched to the app. Talk about a game changer!! It's ALL on my phone, which I have with me all the time. Even ordering the final pages is so so easy right from the app. When the prints arrive (I do 12×12 layouts), I just slip them into the 12×12 page protector and just like that….scrapbook done! It takes about 2 minutes to slip in 30+ pages. No puzzles to figure out where to put what. The best part is that I usually finish making all the pages on the plane/car ride home and order them before we even get home. Some people prefer the physical cards and such but for me it is so much easier and 100% mess free to use the app. Try it!! (and use your leftover cards for note cards, invitations etc..)
