I already had the candlesticks and the lamp. They were the perfect additions to balance out my Big Lots scores.
You’ve got to see a night shot to show that cute fox and the electric candle in the mason jar all lit up:
Isn’t it a cozy, inviting entryway? I am thrilled with how it turned out! It’s quite the dramatic change:
I love how the gold, white and silver decor all pop against the navy background. It’s definitely more my style. I’m so glad I took the risk and went with the navy paint.

Looks amazing, Jen! Come do my new house!
I would love to because then I'd get to see you!
But where do the shoes and coats go??
This room is a square that sticks off the front of the house. There's a coat closet right next to this room near the stairs! I LOVE having all the coats/backpacks/shoes out of sight in that closet!
My entire house needs a refresh, but more than anything, my husband needs to finish painting the downstairs. It's half painted and has been since May – NOT cute. #client
what color is that blue. I love it!
It's Benjamin Moore Hale Navy mixed in Behr paint.
HI! I love your foyer!! It wouldn't seem possible with the dark "after" walls, but it looks brighter than with the "before walls. It may be an optical illusion, but it's almost like the light is more intense because the walls are darker and the light isn't so washed out 🙂
Hi Marla! Thank you so much. I totally agree… the dark paint doesn't make the room dark at all! I was definitely surprised by that.
Hi, lovely transformation. I love what you did with the dark paint and mirrors.
Where did you purchase those, please?
I like them.
Kind regards
Big Lots several years ago, but I’ve seen similar items at Hobby Lobby recently.
