Apple Cider Syrup

This delicious homemade pancake syrup is quick to make, but will take your pancakes and waffles to the next level. It tastes like fall!

Ingredients

  • 8 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • In a cold sauce pan on the stove, whisk together cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon.
  • While whisking, gradually add the apple cider and lemon juice.
  • Cook over medium heat and stir until thick.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter.
  • Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or French toast. Store leftovers in the fridge.
