Apple Cider Syrup
This delicious homemade pancake syrup is quick to make, but will take your pancakes and waffles to the next level. It tastes like fall!
- 8 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups apple cider or apple juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons butter
In a cold sauce pan on the stove, whisk together cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon.
While whisking, gradually add the apple cider and lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat and stir until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in butter.
Serve warm over pancakes, waffles or French toast. Store leftovers in the fridge.
