Sheet Pan Caramel Apples

Get all of the flavors of caramel apples without any of the fuss. These sheet pan caramel apples are a genius twist on the classic fall treat.

Ingredients

  • 33 ounces Kraft Caramel Squares , unwrapped (3 bags)
  • 1/3 cup Heavy Cream
  • 5-6 Granny Smith apples
  • various toppings , optional

Instructions

  • Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Slice apples, then dry them thoroughly with paper towels. Arrange evenly on baking sheet.
  • Unwrap caramel squares and place in a bowl with heavy cream. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals until smooth.
  • Pour hot caramel over apple slices and carefully spread it out until everything is evenly coated.
  • Let caramel cool slightly, then top with favorite toppings.
  • Serve when caramel is cool and solid.
  • Cover and store leftovers in the fridge.

Notes

This dessert is best served the day it's made. Sometimes apples can weep when put in the fridge. To prevent the excess moisture, use fresh apples and dry the slices thoroughly before placing on cookie sheet.
