Easy Caramel Apple Cookies
These caramel apple cookies are super easy to make and are a cute and festive fall party dessert.
Apple Slicer , optional
Large Bowl
Butter Knife
For The Apple Soak
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 teaspoon salt
For The Cookies
- 2 dozen sugar cookies , homemade or store-bought
- 3 Granny Smith apples
- 1 tub Litehouse Caramel Dip
- Toppings optional
To Prevent Apple Slices from Browning
Pour 2 cups cold water and 1 teaspoon salt into a bowl. Stir until salt is dissolved.
Place the apple slices into the bowl of salt water and let them soak for 10 minutes.
Rinse the apple slices under cold water.
Dry apple slices completely with a clean, lint-free kitchen towel.
To Assemble The Cookies
Frost the sugar cookies with a generous amount of the pre-made Litehouse caramel dip.
Add the treated apple slices to the top of the caramel.
Top with candy, nuts, sprinkles, etc. if desired.
