Charlie Brown No-Bake Peanut Butter Treats

Hi there! Today I thought I'd share a cute and easy treat that is sure to be a hit with the entire family.

Are you a Charlie Brown fan? We are! We especially love the holiday Peanuts movies. Hello, it's just not Halloween until we've watched It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

Just for fun, I whipped up these delicious no-bake peanut butter treats and gave them a fun Charlie Brown theme.

You will need these ingredients:

1 cup Karo syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups Kellogg's corn flakes
snack sized Ziploc bags

Pour Karo syrup and sugar into pan and heat just until sugar dissolves. This will only take a minute or so. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Measure cereal and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour sauce over cereal and mix until even combined.

Place scoops of the mixture onto wax paper to harden. When cool enough to handle, you can roll them into ball shapes if desired.

To make them look more Peanuts-esque, I added Charlie Brown's iconic zig zag to the bags using vinyl I cut on my Silhouette. If you don't want to cut the zig zags, you could draw them on with a black permanent marker instead.

Then I stapled cute bag toppers to each bag. So cute and so easy! Here's the link to the bag topper I designed. Just click on the link to open the file, click on the printer icon, and enjoy.

Have a great day, friends!
