This Italian Cream Cheese Chicken recipe is an easy, creamy, flavorful crockpot chicken dinner. Serve over rice or pasta.
Sometimes you just need an easy weeknight dinner idea that only requires dumping a few things in the crockpot. This Italian Cream Cheese chicken definitely fits the bill. It features tender shredded chicken spiced with zesty italian seasonings smothered in a creamy sauce. It only takes 4 ingredients to make this easy, family friendly dinner.
We love to serve it over rice or pasta. We top ours with sliced green onions and a sprinkling of sharp cheddar cheese and serve it with veggies on the side.
If you like your dinner extra saucy, you can double the cream cheese and cream of chicken soup. If you have a big crowd to feed, you can also double the whole recipe and make it with 4 chicken breasts.
My entire family loves this easy chicken dinner and I love how quickly it comes together.
Time-Saving Tip: I use my hand mixer to shred cooked chicken. It is so much faster than doing it by hand! If you haven’t tried this before, it’s a total game changer. Now it’s the only way I shred chicken!

I sprinkled a ranch pack over the breasts and baked in the oven. Took them out when they were done and shredded using my hand mixer placed in pot then added soft cream cheese and condensed chicken soup. Delicious Served over rice with green beans as a side. Hubby and I were happy!
