First you’ll need to make a bowl of oatmeal following the directions on the canister. I used Quick One Minute Oats. While your oatmeal is cooking, gather up a few simple ingredients: milk, an orange, brown sugar, butterscotch chips and cinnamon.
Add them all together, give it a good stir and then dive into a bowl of pure deliciousness!
Oatmeal Scotchie Breakfast Bowl
- 1/2 cup Quick Oats
- 1 cup Water
- Zest from 1/2 an Orange
- dash Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Butterscotch Flavored Baking Chips
- 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- Combine water and oats in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 90 seconds. Add zest, cinnamon, baking chips and brown sugar. Stir until combined. Top with milk, if desired. This recipe serves one.
