Oatmeal Scotchie Breakfast Bowl

Oatmeal Scotchies are one of my husband’s all-time favorite cookies. I make them every year at Christmas. Have you had them before? They are a soft, hearty oatmeal cookie flavored with orange zest, cinnamon and butterscotch chips. Oh, wow. They are so good!
Well, I decided to figure out a way to capture those same amazing flavors in a breakfast bowl. This oatmeal was probably the best oatmeal I’ve ever had!

First you’ll need to make a bowl of oatmeal following the directions on the canister. I used Quick One Minute Oats. While your oatmeal is cooking, gather up a few simple ingredients: milk, an orange, brown sugar, butterscotch chips and cinnamon.

Add them all together, give it a good stir and then dive into a bowl of pure deliciousness!
